Campaign-level LMS mode lets you choose which campaigns are delivered through your own LMS, one campaign at a time. Run your mandatory learning through your LMS while still offering optional learning natively in CybSafe.
What this is for
If your LMS is your reporting source of truth, you'll want your mandatory learning completions recorded there, not split across two systems. LMS mode handles that by hiding LMS-delivered learning from your people's view in CybSafe.
Until now, LMS mode was account-wide: turning it on hid every learning surface in CybSafe. That meant you couldn't run mandatory learning through your LMS and still offer optional learning in CybSafe at the same time.
Campaign-level LMS mode changes that. You mark campaigns individually, so:
your mandatory learning runs through your LMS and stays out of your people's CybSafe feed, and
your optional learning stays visible and available natively in CybSafe.
Your LMS remains the source of truth for what's mandatory. CybSafe keeps giving people self-directed learning and training triggered in response to real risk.
Before you start
Campaign-level LMS mode is controlled by a setting on your account. If you don't see the LMS mode toggle described below, contact your Customer Success contact or our support team and ask them to enable it for you.
If your account currently uses the older account-wide LMS mode, that setting takes precedence. While it's on, all learning stays hidden regardless of individual campaign settings. Your Customer Success contact will help you move across to campaign-level control when you're ready.
Setup a campaign in LMS mode
Create a new campaign, or edit an existing one, in the campaign wizard.
Set up your campaign as normal — choose your audience and the modules you want to include.
Switch on the LMS mode toggle.
Continue to the Notifications step. Nudges are switched off automatically for LMS-delivered campaigns, and you'll see a note explaining why. You don't need to change anything here.
Review your campaign. LMS-delivered campaigns are clearly flagged on the review screen.
Save and launch as usual.
That's it. The campaign is now delivered through your LMS.
What changes for your people
When a campaign is in LMS mode:
It drops out of the learning feed — it won't appear in the to-do list on their dashboard or on their Learning page.
Its nudges are switched off, so people aren't prompted about it inside CybSafe.
The module still opens and completes natively when launched from your LMS. Nothing breaks for the learner, and completion is recorded as normal.
Every campaign that isn't marked as LMS-delivered stays fully visible, exactly as before.
Good to know
To keep things clean, we recommend keeping your mandatory LMS learning and your optional CybSafe learning as separate sets of modules. Your Customer Success contact can help you plan this.
The change is reversible. You can switch a campaign back to native delivery at any time by turning off the LMS mode toggle.
