Our alerts feature allows you to send timely messages to your users to simply inform somebody of something.
While our behaviour nudges are linked to a security behaviour alerts are not. Read more about CybSafe nudges vs alerts.

Sending an Alert
To send an alert, navigate to GUIDE > Alerts.
From here you can create an alert campaign and view our templates in the alert library. You can also create your own custom alert templates.
On the Alert campaigns tab, click on "Create +".
Now we simply need to configure the campaign, choose our audience and schedule the alert for delivery.
On the configuration tab, give the campaign a name so you can identify it in our reporting.
Once named, the next step is to select the relevant template for the campaign.
➡️ You can filter the alert by CybSafe or your custom alerts.
➡️ There is a handy search function to fins what you are looking for.
➡️ Clicking on the accordion will show you the alert template if you are unsure which one to choose.
➡️ Of course you do have the option to click "Create +" to build a custom template and add it to the library.
When you have a template selected, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Next".
The audience tab allows you to filter the audience for this alert campaign. Add a filter if you want to target specific users. If a filter is not added your entire organisation will be targeted.
Once you are happy with your audience click on "Next" to schedule the alert.
You have various options to schedule when your alert will be sent.
➡️ Choose the date you would like it to be sent.
➡️ Choose the time of day, this time is in GMT for all users regardless of their location.
➡️ Define if the alert repeats, either never, daily, weekly, every week day or a custom schedule.
➡️ Finally choose your delivery channel. You may need to configure an integration if you wish to use Teams, Slack or Google Chat.
Click on "Next" when ready.
On the final "Review" tab look over your alert campaign and confirm you are happy with the setup.
➡️ Clicking on "Edit" will take you back to the section if you wish to amend any details.
Click "Create" once you are happy with your campaign.
Once created you will be directed back to the Alert Campaign table.
➡️ Your alert status may show as processing while we schedule the alerts for all of the applicable users. Once finalised the status will show as Active.
On the alert campaign table clicking the three dots to the right of each campaign will give you the option to, cancel, view or edit the campaign.
You will only be able to cancel or edit the alert up until the scheduled date and time. Once the alert is sent you will not be able to cancel or edit it unless it is a repeated alert.
