What are landing pages
Our phishing simulation emails will always have a "landing page". These are a simulated attack website that users are brought to after clicking a link on a simulated phishing email.
Think of it as a fake login page which is part of the end to end phishing simulation.
You can create your own landing pages from scratch or duplicate an existing CybSafe landing page to tweak to your liking.
Our landing pages
To view our landing page, head to PHISH > Landing pages.
In the phishing landing pages library you can preview all of our landing pages.
To do so click on the three dots on the right hand side of each page, select "Preview".
This will open up a preview of the web page.
You can also click on "Duplicate", to create a copy of that landing page.
This is particularly useful if you just want to tweak one of our landing pages.
The duplicated landing page will be added to the library names "Copy of landing page name"

Create custom landing pages
You can create a custom landing page should you require something specific for a phishing campaign.
To do so, head to PHISH > Landing pages, then click on "Create+".
Use the editor to create your landing page in HTML.
Please ensure you follow the requirements outlined on the page.
We have preloaded one of our existing HTML templates to help you get started. If you need help with HTML you can always use a free editor to build a visual page and then add the HTML.
There maybe some unsupported strings however it is a good way to get your base page built.
Before clicking, "Create landing page" make sure you select the attack technique of the landing page, is it asking for credentials or a download perhaps the user needs to click a link.
After clicking, "Create landing page", your new landing page will appear in the landing page library. You will be able to select it as a landing page when creating custom phishing email templates.
FAQs
What is a landing page?
A landing page appears when someone clicks on a link in your simulated phishing email. It's designed to encourage the user to take a high-risk action, such as submitting data or downloading a file.
Can customers customize landing pages?
Yes, customers can clone and edit pre-built landing pages or create their own from scratch using HTML.
What attack techniques can landing pages use?
Landing pages can use various attack techniques including password submission, email address submission, name submission, link clicking, file downloading, and phone number submission.
Can customers capture credentials through landing pages? This capability is not supported by CybSafe. We do not record any data entered by users into the landing page. We only record that an event occurred on the landing page.
What happens after a user interacts with a landing page?
When users click on a button or submit information on a landing page, they're directed to an intervention page that explains it was a simulated phishing attack and provides guidance on what to look for in the future.
Are there any HTML limitations for landing pages?
Yes, CybSafe sanitizes HTML upon saving, which can affect custom landing pages. In some cases, certain HTML elements may be altered or removed.
Do landing pages need to include forms?
Landing pages should include a form containing a button. When someone clicks this button, they will receive the active intervention page on your account.
How can I see what landing page URL will appear to users?
The landing page URL will be unique to every phishing email sent out. The links typically redirect to a URL in the form: https://cs-portalintranet.com/pf/...β β β
