Advice is designed to give your people up-to-date, expert advice on keeping safe online.
As an administrator, you’re able to supplement Advice with organisation-specific information.
You can do this by adding your own categories to Advice, adding your own questions to those categories and defining which questions can be seen by users.
To access Advice setup, click on the “Advice” button underneath “GUIDE” on the left-hand menu:
Topics
From here you will see a list of pre-existing topics from CybSafe.
Think of these as the main sections of Advice when a user visits the feature page.
Within these topics you will have Questions.
You can unpublish any of these topics if you want to remove the entire topic and all Questions within the specific topic.
To do this simply click the three dots on the right hand side of the table and select "Unpublish".
Creating your own topic
Creating your own topic is also possible. By clicking on the “Create +” button shown in the above screen you will be presented with this:
Here you can create a new topic (e.g. Internal Policies).
Be sure to add any other languages and their translations you would like this piece of advice to be available for your users.
Once you click save, your category will be published and visible.
To edit a custom topic, select the three dots in the right hand side of the table and select "Edit".
To delete a custom topic, select the three dots in the right hand side of the table and select "Delete".
Questions
Once you have created your own topic, or if you wish to add to an existing topic, you can then add your own questions or advice cards.
To do so, navigate to the "Questions” tab:
Here you can see all the questions available in Advice.
You can define whether a specific question is published and visible by your people.
Create your own questions
To add a question click on “Create +”.
You will be taken to this page:
Here you can assign your question to a topic.
You can also choose which groups will see the question (if you leave this box empty, your question will be visible to everyone by default).
Write out your question in the box provided and the corresponding answer.
In this page you can also choose which language you want the question to appear in.
When you're done, click "Save" and your question will be visible as configured.
Please note:
Any questions you create will be marked as “Internal” on the list of questions.
Questions created by CybSafe will have the “CybSafe” label.
CybSafe questions cannot be deleted or edited, only unpublished for your people.
To edit your own question select the three dots next to the question and click "Edit".
To delete your own questions, select the three dots next to the question and click "Delete":
Settings
Under settings you have the option to remove the Advice feature from the user experience entirely.
Simply toggle off :Enable Advice" and click "Save".

What is the Advice feature?

How do users access Advice?
Users can access Advice by clicking "Advice" on the homepage or by clicking the "Advice" button in the top menu.
Can we customize Advice content?
Yes, you can create organization specific topics within Advice, add organization specific questions to topics. You can add links, images and format the Advice cards to suit your specific internal information.
Can we change font/background colors in Advice cards?
No, currently the platform sanitises and removes any additional style tags upon saving the Advice card. You have basic formatting options available when creating a question.
How are images handled in the visual editor?
Images are resized to fit the available space. You will need to host any images and add a URL for the image to the Advice card.
Can we change the display order of Advice cards within a topic?
Yes, but not explicitly.
You can publish your custom questions in your preferred order, and that's the order in which they'll be served to users. You cannot move the CybSafe questions, but can unpublish where appropriate.
Can we force hyperlinks to open in a new tab/window?
Yes, this functionality is supported.
How do search functions work in Advice?
Users can search for specific terms or queries. If a search doesn't return any Advice cards, the User messages feature will prompt users to leave a question anonymously for administrators to review and answer.
