How to manage your time zone

Your time zone setting drives the times you see in reports and when you receive communications. It's important it's correct.

CybSafe checks your time zone on login

When you log in, CybSafe compares your browser time zone with the time zone set on your account. If they don't match — say you've moved or you're travelling — you'll see a prompt asking if you'd like to update.

You can update right there with one click, or dismiss it if you'd prefer to keep your current setting. The prompt won't appear again until your next login.

Check your time zone in profile settings

Visit your profile settings to see your current time zone. If your account time zone doesn't match your browser, you'll see a warning on the time zone field.

You can update your time zone from your profile settings at any time. The change takes effect immediately across the platform.

Why it matters

If your time zone is wrong, every time you see in reports could be off. The platform now actively helps you stay in the right time zone rather than leaving you to discover a mismatch on your own.

Frequently asked questions

  • Will I see the prompt every time I log in? Only if your browser time zone and CybSafe time zone don't match. If you dismiss the prompt, it won't appear again until your next login session.

  • I'm travelling — should I update my time zone? It depends. If you're travelling temporarily and still want to see times in your home time zone, dismiss the prompt. If you've relocated, update it.

  • I dismissed the prompt by mistake. How do I update my time zone? Go to your profile settings. You can update your time zone there at any time.

  • Does changing my time zone affect past report data? No. Times in reports adjust to show your current time zone setting. The underlying data doesn't change — it's just displayed differently.
