At CybSafe our learning modules are written to a high standard, and we always strive to be inclusive in our language and up-to-date with our advice.
We also know however that organisations will have specific requirements on language (for example "firm" rather than "company" for a law firm), or have policies with more specific advice than our modules can provide.
This is why we are giving you the ability to customize CybSafe's module content to whatever your organisation needs!
To do so is very simple and involves using our annotations feature, which we have updated.
Firstly, open up the module and find the content you wish to edit.
In this example we'll be editing the Malware and breach recovery (training style) module, specifically this section on "Plugging in devices".
To begin editing select "Add an annotation".
You'll be presented with the following page, which will look familiar if you have annotated CybSafe content before.
You will see a toggle to "Replace content". Toggling this to on will result in the annotation replacing the content at the top, rather than appearing alongside it.
For example, you can update the content to refer to a specific policy in your organisation, as we have done here for device management.
Make sure "Replace content" and "Publish annotation" have both been toggled on and click submit at the bottom of the page.
The content will now be changed to what you wrote in the content box. You will be able to see the original CybSafe content and edit the altered content. Only administrators will be able to see these options. Users will only see the edited content.
Please note: You will not be able to edit module titles or end of module quiz questions with this feature currently.
