Step 1: Sign into your CybSafe account and click the top right button with 3 dots (circled in orange in this screenshot)
Step 2: This will open up a dropdown menu. Click on the option “Notification Preferences”.
Step 3: You are now on the Notification Preferences page. You will see an option “Enable Notifications.” The slider currently shows “Off” (circled in orange).
Step 4: Click the slider to change it to “On” (circled in orange) to subscribe to notifications. You are now subscribed to receive browser nudges!
Step 5: Can you see this message: “Your browser notification permission is currently blocked”? There is an additional step for you to complete (see below). You will also need to enable Notifications permission on your browser.
Click the lock icon (in the top left of the address bar). This will open up a dropdown menu with the option “Notifications”. Click the slider to enable notifications.
You should now be all set to receive browser nudges! Think of them as friendly little reminders helping to keep you and your workplace cyber secure.
