The new Learning reports offer significant improvements in performance, consistency, and usability. This guide will help you navigate and utilise these enhanced reports effectively.

Accessing the new Learning reports

  1. Log in to your CybSafe account.

  2. Navigate to Reports > Learning [New] via the left menu.

  3. Look for the "New" label to identify the updated reports.

Key features of the new reports

The new Learning reports include significant improvements across three key areas:

Date range enhancements: Clear date range indicators at the top of reports show what data period is being displayed. Automatic date application when clicking into campaigns applies the campaign's relevant dates, and improved date filter functionality enables better historical data analysis.

UI and UX improvements: Tooltips throughout the reports explain metrics and data points. Multi-stat cards show both counts and rates together, whilst improved visualisations with bar charts instead of line charts provide clearer trend interpretation. Consistent patterns and layouts appear across all report pages.

Reporting enhancements: Better campaign filters with clearer active/ended/deactivated options, enhanced group breakdowns for more detailed analysis, improved navigation between different report sections, and a focus on completion metrics as primary indicators.

How to use the new reports

Step 1: Review learning overview

Start on the Overview page to get a comprehensive snapshot of your organisation's learning progress. Look at:

  • Completion rate metrics and statistics

  • Date range indicator showing the period of data displayed

  • Group breakdown showing completion rates by group

  • List of active and recently ended campaigns

Step 2: Analyse campaign performance

Go to the Campaigns page to examine detailed insights into all your learning campaigns. Use:

  • Filter options for active, ended, and deactivated campaigns

  • Click on campaigns to automatically apply relevant date ranges

  • Multi-stat cards showing both counts and completion rates

  • Enhanced visualisations for better data interpretation

Step 3: Deep dive into campaign details

Navigate to specific campaigns to see:

  • Automatically applied date range relevant to the campaign

  • Completion rate over time

  • Module completion breakdown

  • Group breakdown showing which groups are enrolled and their completion rates

Step 4: Assess group performance

On the Groups page, review learning progress by user groups to:

  • View completion rates by group

  • Click into specific groups to see detailed information

  • Analyse progression over time for each group

  • See enrolled users within each group

Step 5: Use enhanced filtering

Apply the new filtering capabilities to focus your analysis:

  • Date filters: Adjust the date range to view historical data

  • Campaign status filters: View active, ended, or deactivated campaigns

  • Group filters: Focus on specific groups within your organisation

  • When clicking into specific campaigns, dates are automatically applied to show relevant data

Best practices

Monitor completion trends regularly: Use the Overview page to track completion rates over time and identify when engagement improves or declines.

Target support efforts: Use data from the Groups page to focus support resources on groups with lower completion rates.

Leverage automatic date filtering: Take advantage of the automatic date application when clicking into campaigns to see relevant timeframes.

Use tooltips for clarity: Hover over metrics throughout the reports to understand what each data point represents.

Exporting data

You can export data from the reports in multiple ways:

  • Each chart can be exported as an image or CSV

  • CSV downloads remain available under Reports > CSV downloads

  • API access to data remains unaffected by these changes

Transitioning from legacy reports

The legacy Learning reports will be available until the end of August 2025, after which they will be retired. We recommend familiarising yourself with the new reports during this transition period.
