Introduction
We understand that organisations may wish to customise how our CybSafe MS Teams app appears to their users. Perhaps you wish to change the name of the app, or add more information to the app description.
In partnership with Microsoft, we've now configured our Teams application so you can do just that. You can change:
The name of the app as its shown to users
The logo and colour branding of the app
The description and details shown in the details pane for the app
Step by step
❗ You must be a Microsoft Teams Administrator to carry out these steps
Step 1
Go to your MS Teams administration centre -> Teams Apps -> Manage apps. Link here. you should see a page like the below.
Step 2
Search for CybSafe in the "search by name" field and select it. You'll see a page similar to this
Step 3
Select "Customize" under Customization next to the CybSafe logo. A side panel like this will open.
Step 4
Make any changes you'd like to make here and click "Apply". You'll get a message like the below. Click Publish.
As the message states it can take 24 hrs to apply
[Advanced] You can set up multiple customisations if desired and assign to different groups. We don't explain this here, but feel free to consult Microsoft Guidance - link below for more information.
Step 5
Your changes will be applied within 24 hrs
