CybSafe Initial Assessments (IA) are given to users when they first log in. Yes, without any learning whatsoever! The assessments are designed to baseline people’s risk perception, security understanding, knowledge levels, sentiment and confidence.

Initial Assessments ensure you can track changes in awareness and confidence levels as time goes on. Assessments are split into four stages: 

  • Intro

  • Sentiment questions

  • Questions

  • Feedback

Here’s a preview of the intro page:

After the intro, if your organisation has chosen to include a cultural assessment, people move on to cultural questions. Here’s an example:

“Sentiment questions” ask people to rate their perceived ability against their perceived threat of cybercrime. They also ask people questions designed to assess sentiment and attitudes towards cybercrime. Here’s an example:  

After the sentiment questions, people are asked a few questions to gauge their existing cyber security knowledge. These questions help us tailor CybSafe to individuals. Here’s an example of some questions that may be asked:
