What's happened?
Culture assessment v2 has been live since 2023, with clearer statements and more reliable results. To make sure everyone benefits from the latest improvements, we've now retired v1 and moved all accounts to v2.
You don't need to do anything. Your account is already on v2.
What's different in v2?
v2 still measures the same eight dimensions of security culture – Trust, Just and Fair, Responsibility, Resources and Communication, Productive Security, Ease and Choice, Community, and Management and Leadership.
But the statements are clearer and easier to understand. Our Science and Research team refined the wording based on your feedback and psychometric best practice. The result is more reliable, more valid data.
What about my v1 data?
Your historical v1 data hasn't been deleted. You can export it as a CSV at any time.
How to export v1 data
Go to Reports > CSV downloads.
Open the CSV export dropdown.
Choose one of the legacy export options:
Sentiments and dimensions by survey response [Legacy] – sentiment scores and dimension breakdowns from your v1 responses.
Survey answers by question and groups [Legacy] – individual answers broken down by question and group from v1.
The CSV downloads with your complete v1 history.
These legacy exports only include v1 data. Your standard exports show v2 data going forward.
Frequently asked questions
Will I lose my v1 results?
No. All your v1 data is preserved and available through the legacy CSV exports above.
Can I switch back to v1?
No. v1 is no longer available. v2 covers the same dimensions with improved statements and better analysis.
Will my v2 scores be comparable to v1?
The statements have been refined, so scores may differ slightly. We'd recommend treating v2 as a fresh baseline rather than comparing directly with v1 history.
Do I need to reconfigure anything?
No. Your culture assessment settings – frequency, mandatory mode, notifications – carry over automatically.
Can I still see v1 data in the dashboard?
v1 data isn't shown in the dashboard. Use the legacy CSV exports to access your v1 history. The dashboard shows v2 data only.
Why are the Culture reports empty?
You haven’t had any responses for v2 yet. Once responses come in, the reports will populate.
