CybSafe’s mission is to make the digital world safer - for everyone. To ensure the CybSafe app is accessible, we comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.

This statement applies to content published on It is designed to be used by as many people as possible. The text should be clear and simple to understand. You should be able to:

  • zoom in up to 300% without problems

  • navigate the website using just a keyboard

  • navigate the website using speech recognition software

  • use most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

Maintaining and optimising the level of accessibility is an ongoing endeavour to help make the platform as open and available to all.

CybSafe reviews content so that our learning material is accessible using simple, jargon-free language with short sentences, supporting images and videos to enhance comprehension. Our content is available in both training- and story-style modules to cater to various learning preferences. Readability, assessed using the Automated readability index, is aimed at Grade level 6 or lower, which is the level of education required to understand our content.

Compliance status

The website has been externally evaluated and validated by Ten10, a digital accessibility-leading consultancy. In this process, the auditors have used a range of web-accessibility evaluation tools, as well as human evaluation conducted by UK and US-based test analysts.
